We offer 8 GRANTS to carry out official doctorate studies under joint supervision between Public University of Navarra and the PhD student´s University.

The declared aim of the Summer School is to promote the willingness to cooperate in the multinational Alps-Adriatic region. A century of conflict-laden history with two world wars and the disintegration of Yugoslavia have left their mark on the region. Partners are all the more concerned in promoting peace work within the framework of the Alps-Adriatic university cooperation An important component of the summer school is learning the languages of the region. The entire programme is therefore geared towards multilingualism, starting with the tandem principle in accommodation, the morning language courses, the quadrilingual afternoon programme (workshops & excursions), and the evening film screenings.

The following language courses can be chosen:

- German for beginners, German for advanced learners

- Slovenian for beginners, Slovenian for advanced

- Croatian for beginners, Croatian for advanced

- Italian for beginners, Italian for advanced

There is an international education angle, as we have an American Professor of Entrepreneurship Jay Ebben, who teaches the Lean-Start Up coursework here in Ljubljana over two weeks!

We are delighted to inform you that you can apply for a scholarship to participate in our summer course, to learn about the cultural heritage of our beautiful country, Hungary!

Why shouldn’t you miss this experience?

The Cultural Heritage of Hungary (July 4-18, 2021) face-to-face summer program will help you gain insight into Hungary’s gastronomy, wine culture, history, religion and folk traditions, and political, economic and social challenges. Team building intercultural sessions will also be part of this program as well as other exciting and entertaining social programs.

The scholarship, offered by the Hungarian Tempus Public Foundation, covers full tuition, meals, accommodation and various social activities for the duration of the program.

The program is open to undergraduate, graduate and PhD students.

Applications may be submitted in two ways:

Poletna šola AAI - Academia Aestiva Internationalis


Aequitas je študentsko društvo za človekove pravice in demokratizacijo, ki se kot prvo v Sloveniji ukvarja s temi tematikami. Glavni namen društva je prispevati k zagotavljanju človekovih pravic in razvoju mednarodnih odnosov ter demokratizacije ter ozaveščanje zainteresirane javnosti o pomembnih vprašanjih, povezanih s temi temami.

Poletna šola temelji t na interaktivnih predavanjih, delavnicah in modulih. Za sodelovanje na omenjeni mednarodni konferenci lahko udeleženci dobijo tudi 4 kreditne točke ECTS.

Obveščamo vas, da smo, čeprav je bila lanska poletna šola AAI žal odpovedana, trenutno v polnih pripravah na letošnjo. Letošnja tema AAI bo ponovno osredotočena na okoljske pravice, natančneje na kritično analizo klimatskih sprememb; na globalne, okoljske in politične izzive. Verjamemo, da je to izredno pomembna tema, o kateri je potrebno razpravljati, zato bomo to izvedli v sodelovanju z priznanimi strokovnjaki in predavatelji z namenom, da vsakemu udeležencu omogočimo sodelovanje v zanimivih, razmišljujočih in vključujočih delavnicah in razpravah.

Letošnja poletna šola bo potekala od 20. do 27. junija v Ljubljani. Vendar pa bo, če bodo razmere povezane z pandemijo tako zahtevale, potekala na spletu.

21st International Migration Conference under the topic “Border Thinking


The University of Klagenfurt will be hosting the 21st International Migration Conference under the topic “Border Thinking” on the 17th and 18th of June, 2021. The International Conferences take an interdisciplinary and international perspective migration, which is a central attribute of modern societies. Developments in the context of migration are traced and current challenges are discussed. The focus is on the significance of social, cultural and economic differences, as well as on questions of gender, power and power relations.

The program of the 21st International Migration Conference will consist of two core sections: one focus will be on the conference theme “Border Thinking”, the other more general focus will be on “Current challenges in the context of migration”.

The conference languages are English and German.

Dostoevsky Omsk State University (Omsk, Russia)

We would like to inform you about our upcoming EDUCATIONAL PROJECT “LITERARY TRAVELS IN RUSSIA: DOSTOEVSKY IN SIBERIA” dedicated to the 200th anniversary of Fyodor Dostoevsky that will take place from December 14-18, 2020.

This project is aimed at a wide foreign audience who are interested in the Russian language and culture beyond Russia on the eve of the anniversary year.
The online project presentation and educational events will take place on December 14-18, 2020 in universities and schools of China, Kazakhstan, and other countries.

Dostoevsky Omsk State University organizira online tečaja ruskega jezika
Online Russian Language Course at Dostoevsky OmSU.
The participants will be able to earn a balance of language skills (speaking, listening, reading, and writing, grammar) at an appropriate level from beginner to advanced and communicate effectively in real life settings the way locals do in everyday life.

The duration of the Online Russian language course is from a minimum of 1 month to a maximum of 9 months.

The tuition fee for the program :
- 1 month (80 academic hours) - 200 euros
!! If they take from 2 to 4 months, then 1 month (80 academic hours) - 150 euros !!
- 1 semester (5 months - 400 academic hours) - 650 euros
- 1 academic year (9 months - 800 academic hours) - 1300 euros

After completion of the online course participants will receive an end-of-course certificate issued by Dostoevsky Omsk State University, from level A1 to C2 that will allow them to prove their language skills to universities or employers around the world.

Invitation to the Russian Language Winter School "Discover Siberia" in February 2020


Dostoevsky OmSU invites international students who are interested in learning/improving the Russian language and immersing themselves in the Russian traditional culture to take part in our Russian Language Winter School "Discover Siberia".

Russian Language Winter School "Discover Siberia" in February is a 2-week intensive program that aims to provide students with the opportunity to learn and/or practice Russian, and explore what Siberia has to offer.

Course Fees: 30 000 RUB (approx. 423 €/467 $).

Upon the completion of the program, students will get the Russian Language School Certificate (4 ECTS).

Russian Language classes are taught by experienced language teaching professionals (teachers of Russian as a Foreign Language) and follow a communicative approach to language teaching. In addition to in-class Russian language instruction, students will attend interactive lectures of cultural and academic interest.

An extensive social and cultural program is designed to help participants gain a valuable overview of Russian culture based on local Siberian heritage. On the weekdays, participants will explore Omsk city and its museums, theaters, galleries and attractions and on the weekend, they will take trips to the places of historical and cultural significance of Omsk Region which will give them a great opportunity to truly experience peace and quiet of a snowy Siberian landscape in its most pristine beauty.
